How 3D Anamorphic Content Captures Attention in Public Spaces

Grabbing attention in busy public spaces isn’t easy, but 3D Anamorphic Content offers a new way to connect through visuals that feel real and engaging.

Making Flat Screens Feel Real

At its core, 3D Anamorphic Content relies on perspective. By aligning visuals to a specific viewing angle, the content appears to leap off the screen, creating a surreal yet convincing illusion. Unlike typical motion graphics, this technique invites passers-by to pause and take notice—breaking the cycle of ad-blindness common in urban environments.

Its flexibility means it can be applied across many formats, including compact LED Displays and digital billboards. While large-scale screens naturally draw attention, this technique proves that even small displays can deliver a powerful impact, especially when viewed in the right context.

Immersive Advertising Designed for Public Spaces

What makes 3D Anamorphic Content so effective is its ability to trigger emotional reactions—it disrupts expectations, invites a second look, and evokes curiosity and wonder. In today’s saturated urban environments, public space advertising needs more than visibility; it needs memorability. That’s where immersive digital displays come in.

By integrating seamlessly into real-world settings—like bus shelters, transit hubs, and pedestrian zones—these displays transform familiar public spaces into unexpected moments of engagement. The result is advertising that feels less like an interruption and more like a cinematic encounter woven into the everyday.

Case in Point: Martell’s Urban 3D Showcase

A recent example of this approach was Martell’s campaign in Singapore. To promote its N’oblige line, the brand collaborated with JCDecaux and Ellie Motion to activate over 100 digital LED displays at bus shelters, each featuring 3D animated content.

While the screens were relatively compact, the visual impact was strong. Each display was carefully crafted to make the Martell bottle appear as if it were emerging from the screen—blending product visuals with immersive street-level design to create a striking and memorable illusion.

The campaign demonstrated how tailored content and clever use of space can turn a standard digital billboard slot into a striking, shareable moment in public.

3D Anamorphic Content offers a fresh way to communicate in public spaces. It adds depth and motion to everyday screens, turning them into engaging visual moments that people remember—whether on digital billboards, transit zones, or other high-footfall areas.
